Dear IPS Parents,

We encourage IPS families to view attendance in school seriously and to arrange personal vacations and planned absences to coordinate with school holidays. We have carefully planned our curriculum and annual learning expectations to fit a specific time frame. IPS policy states that any student who is absent FOR ANY REASON for more than 18 days (10% of the school year) may not be advanced to the next grade level. We, therefore, advise that voluntary absences be prevented.

If your child will be absent the whole day or will miss some classes during the day, please send an email to admin@ipsksa.com, mentioning your child's full name and grade level and informing us of the reason for the absence and the time of leaving school if he/she has an appointment during the school day.
