We are sending this letter to you as we have a lot of things happening in the next few weeks that we want to make sure that you know about or remember.
Attendance/ Tardy: Classes start at 9:30, any student arriving after it will get a Tardy slip.
Student Deliveries: The school does not accept any late student deliveries ( Projects, laptop etc.). Students will have to live without those things for a day if they forget them.
Coffee: During normal school days, students coming to school with coffee in their hands is not allowed. Their coffee will be kept in the admin offices and they can pick it up at dismissal (or they can throw it away).
Early Dismissal Tuesday - During Ramadan: On Tuesdays, during Ramadan, we continue normal Ramadan timings ( 9:30 am - 2 pm)
School Tuition: Remember that school tuition for this year must be paid before a seat will be available for your student next year. We have had over 100 families express interest in enrolling in our school and our seats are given on a first paid, first placed basis.
Ramadan Timing: 9:30 am - 2 pm, Sunday-Thursday
Early Dismissal for sick students: Any student facing any health issue must be seen by our school nurse. If the nurse feels the student should go home, the parents are communicated with. Students are not able to make that decision themselves without consulting the nurse.
Eid Holidays: Our last day of school is April 21 and we return to school after Eid on Sunday, May 8th. When we return to school, we will go back to our old timings where school begins at 7:45 AM, and we will have early dismissal Tuesday again also.
Last School day for students: Last day for students this academic year is on 30th June 2022.
IB World Exams: April 28- May 18. Good luck to our grade 12 students.
Thank you for Donations for Ramadan: Our students and staff collected so much food that not only did we donate complete sets of food for 15 families, but the National Honor Society and Student Council donated extras to food banks in our community. Thank you for your generosity.
Thank you, artists!: Our Art Show ran for a week and we appreciate all of the artists that contributed to this show. Many families chose to come to our school because we offer art classes to our students, and we are proud to showcase their work!
