Session 1: “When Your Child’s Emotions Trigger Yours”. Finding balance to stay calm, connected, and in control.

This session offers practical tools to help parents navigate emotional moments with confidence and awareness.

Dear IPS G6–12 Parents/Guardians,

In response to the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to perform Salat Al-Istisqa (Prayer for Rain) across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, International Programs School will hold the prayer as follows:

  • Date: Thursday, February 12, 2026
  • Location: Girls’ Field
  • Arrival Time: 7:15 a.m.

Students who wish to participate are kindly requested to:

Arrive on time at the designated location.

Bring their own prayer mat.

Separate prayer areas will be arranged for male and female students, with appropriate partitions provided.

The prayer will be organized by the Islamic Studies Department in collaboration with the School Administration.

 

Please note: Participation is optional for students.

Reminder Holy Month of Ramadan Timing 

We want to wish all of our families a very blessed Holy Month of Ramadan as we approach this glorious month. In our intention to run a very smooth daily schedule, we would like to mention a few important details to keep in mind when preparing your child for school the Holy Month:

1. Ramadan Schedule Start Date

  • Please note that the Ramadan school schedule will commence on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, regardless of the official announcement of the Holy Month.

2. School Day Timings

  • School hours: 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • Total school day duration: Four and a half hours.
  • Primary and Secondary School Timings:

  • Transition time between periods: 5 minutes.
    Breaks: One break period per day.

4. CAP Program Update

  • Please note that there will be no CAP sessions during the Holy Month of Ramadan, from Sunday, February 15, 2026, until Thursday, March 26, 2026.
  • CAP sessions will resume as per the regular schedule starting Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Giving Hands 

In alignment with the school’s vision to foster social responsibility and instill the values of giving in our students, International Programs School is pleased to announce the launch of the "Giving Hands" donation drive. This initiative is organized in collaboration with the Al-Baraka Charity Foundation and is led by our dedicated students, who have taken the initiative to manage the collection, sorting, and loading process.

To ensure maximum benefit for the recipient families and to facilitate the sorting and loading operations, we kindly ask for your full adherence to the specified list of food items below. Please be advised that, in accordance with the charity’s requirements, we are unable to accept any items outside of this list:

Approved Items Only:

  • Grains: Rice (5kg bags), Flour, Pasta, Lentils.
  • Canned Goods: Fava Beans, Tomato Paste.
  • Others: Sugar, Cooking Oil, Powdered Milk, Oats.

Schedule and Collection Logistics:

  • Duration: Sunday, February 8th – Sunday, February 15th, 2026.
  • Drop-off Time: Morning period (7:15 a.m. – 7:45 a.m.).
  • Collection Points: Designated locations at Gate 1 and Gate 2.

Your commitment to these guidelines reflects our students' awareness of the importance of organized charitable work and contributes to the success of this humanitarian initiative.
