Arabic Language Day Celebration    |   احتفالية يوم اللغة العربية

We are thrilled to announce our Arabic Language Day celebration, which will take place on December 15-18, 2024. 

This event aims to foster a deeper understanding of the rich heritage of the Arabic language. Students will have the chance to engage in various activities that promote an appreciation of the Arabic language and culture.

Announcement 02

Term 1 Final Exam Day Procedures 2024-2025

Final exams for students in grades 6-12 will take place from November 13-22 in homeroom classes. See the link for the schedule. If a student is absent, he or she will need to submit a medical note from a doctor in order to take a make-up exam. No students will be allowed to make up an exam if this is not provided. 

Below are the exam guidelines for students:

  • All students must wear their uniform during exams
  • Arrive early and enter the gym
  • Be on your best behavior. No talking is allowed during the exams
  • Bring the required supplies in a clear ziplock bag and a water bottle
  • Calculators are allowed only if permitted by the teacher
  • No phones or computers are allowed
  • Exams will be taken using a Blue ballpoint pen, bringing an extra pen for emergency
  • Wait in front of the exam hall until called by the proctor/teacher. i.e. 5 min. before the exam starts
  • Keep all books, laptops, or personal belongings outside the exam hall
  • Keep exam papers neat and clean
  • Give only one answer to each question. Multiple answers will be deleted
  • Review the exam paper before handing it to the proctor. You may not retrieve the exam once it has been submitted.
  • Students will remain in the exam room up until the end of the exam. Students may bring a book to read once the exam has finished.
  • Any student who fails an exam or the trimester must take a credit recovery exam the week of 3- 5 December, 2024.

Dismissal Instructions:

  • Students will be released either at 9:30 or 11:30, based on the final exam schedule.
  • Boys must be picked up from Gate 1 and girls from Gate 2
  • Anyone riding a bus (boy or girl) will be picked up at Gate 2
  • If a student rides the bus, transportation must be arranged with the bus company
  • Gates will be closed at 10:00 or 12:00
  • Students may not remain at school until 2:55

The Madinah Trip for the Girls’ School (Grades 7-12)

We are pleased to announce a special trip to Madinah for IPS students. This journey offers a unique opportunity for spiritual growth and educational enrichment by visiting the Prophet’s Mosque and other significant historical places in the Holy City.

    • Disclosure of any health conditions that may be affected by travel is required.
    • For payment purposes, students wishing to register for the trip can visit the Finance Office on the second floor of Building A.
    • The price does not include VAT.

Invitation to Register for the Triathlon Youth Clinic

At the International Programs School (IPS), we are dedicated to providing our students with diverse sporting experiences that challenge them and promote personal growth. We believe that engaging in various athletic activities not only enhances physical fitness but also fosters teamwork, discipline, and resilience.

In line with this commitment, we are excited to invite you to register your children for the Triathlon Youth Clinic, taking place on Tuesday, November 5th, at the Eurovillage. This event will be a mixed experience, welcoming both boys and girls to participate in all training activities. We appreciate your enthusiasm and patience as we finalize the event details.

Event Details:

  • Date: Tuesday, November 5th, 2024
  • Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Location: Eurovillage
  • Participants: A maximum of 50 IPS students, aged 12-16
  • Activities: Students will engage in swimming, biking, running, and transition activities, with mixed training sessions, along with snack and hydration breaks.

  • Parents will be responsible for providing transportation for their child to the Eurovillage.
