Announcement 01 :  IPS Device Readiness Survey – Academic Year 2026–2027

As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring that every student is fully prepared for a successful academic experience, we kindly ask you to complete the IPS Device Readiness Survey for the Academic Year 2026–2027.

This survey aims to help us:

• Understand each student’s device readiness for the upcoming year
• Ensure alignment with our academic and technology requirements
• Provide guidance and support for families who may need to purchase devices

Important Note:
IPS strongly recommends that all students in Grades 1–5 use a Google Chromebook, as it is fully integrated into our curriculum and security systems, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.

Your responses will also enable us to guide you toward the appropriate channels and the school’s preferred vendor for purchasing devices, if needed.

Announcement 02: Annual Student Photos – Ordering Process and Delivery Timeline (Stu Studios Company)

We are pleased to announce, in collaboration with Stu Studios Company, the annual student photography services at the school, along with the timeline and next steps related to photo orders and expected delivery dates for this year.

Photo Options:

• Portrait (vertical) individual photo
• Landscape (horizontal) individual photo
• Class group photo (optional, based on parents’ request)

During the photo sessions, each student was provided with a personal photography card. By scanning the QR code, you will be able to log in to the online platform, view the photos, select your preferred options, and complete the purchase request easily according to the available choices.

Photo Purchase and Delivery Process:

• Parents will have a 14-day window after the photo sessions to place their orders and benefit from the free school delivery option.
• After the order window closes, production and fulfillment will take approximately 10 to 14 business days.
• Delivery typically takes around 14 days after dispatch and may vary slightly depending on courier conditions.
• After the initial 14-day period, photos will be available for digital purchase only, except for class group photos, which will not be available in digital format to protect students’ privacy.
• Due to high shipping costs, photos cannot be sent individually to parents. Instead, all orders will be delivered to the school in bulk, and parents can collect them from [responsible department name].

Pricing Information:
We are pleased to confirm that the agreed price for two individual photos (portrait and landscape) is 160 SAR, as shown in the attached screenshot. Class group photos will be available for an additional charge if parents wish to purchase them.

Announcement 03 : Splash Day 2026 - KG1 - Grade 5

We are delighted to announce our annual Splash Day 2026 for PYP students—an exciting and enjoyable event that we look forward to sharing with your children.

Event Schedule:

• Sunday, May 3rd: KG1 – Grade 2
• Monday, May 4th: Grades 3 – 5

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please kindly review the following guidelines:

Please send your child with:

• Appropriate modest swimwear (swimsuit, swim trunks, swim shirts, etc.)
• A swim shirt or T-shirt (shoulders must be covered)
• Suitable footwear for wet conditions (water shoes, sandals, flip-flops, etc.)
• Water bottle
• Towel
• A change of dry clothes (to be worn after the activity)
• Sunscreen applied at home
• Snack and lunch as usual

Please DO NOT send:

• Sports shoes or sneakers that should not get wet
• Sunglasses or hats that may fall off during activities
• Jewelry such as earrings or necklaces

For students who will not participate:
If your child will not be taking part in Splash Day, you may choose one of the following options:

1. Keep your child at home for the day
2. Send your child for part of the day (please coordinate with the homeroom teacher)
3. Send your child to school to attend a supervised study hall session

Announcement 04 :  Academic Calendar 2026–2027

We would like to inform you that the academic calendar for the 2026–2027 academic year has been submitted to the Ministry of Education for official approval, and we are currently awaiting confirmation.

Please note that the only confirmed date at this stage is:

• Students will begin school on Sunday, 23rd August 2026.

Once the full academic calendar is officially approved, it will be shared with you promptly, along with the school’s 2026–2027 Master Calendar, which has already been fully prepared.

Announcement 05 : Jersey Day – Thursday, 7th May

We are excited to inform you that Jersey Day will take place on Thursday, 7th May (next Thursday) as part of our school spirit activities.

Students are invited to come to school wearing their favorite sports jersey or team shirt to celebrate the day and enjoy a fun and engaging atmosphere with their peers.

We look forward to seeing our students participate and show their team spirit!
