We would like to inform you about the upcoming NAFS (National Assessment of Educational Progress) Standards Test, which is scheduled for specific grades.

The NAFS Standards Test is a crucial assessment that helps evaluate the academic progress of our students and provides valuable insights into their learning outcomes.  

We kindly request your support in encouraging your daughter to recognize the importance of this test and to prepare adequately for it. Emphasizing the significance of the NAFS Standards Test can help motivate them to perform to the best of their abilities.

Event Details

• Event: NAFS (National Assessment of Educational Progress) Standards Test.
• Day and Date: 
  • Grade 9: Tuesday, May 14th, 2024.
  • Grade 6: Monday, May 20th, 2024.
  • Grade 3: Sunday, May 26th, 2024.
• Examination Subjects: Math, English, and Science.
• Format: Paper-based test conducted at the school.
• Duration: 3 hours, within regular school hours.

NHS Charity Football Match April 18th, 2024
 

The NHS is thrilled to announce the final charity football match between the senior Class of 2024 and the teachers: The Last Dance. Two matches of immense thrill and excitement, resulting in a win for each team; it is time to settle the score and declare the final winner. 

Event Details:

• Event: The final charity football match between the senior Class of 2024 and the teachers.
• Date: Thursday, April 18th, 2024 from 3:30 PM. 
• Location: Euro Village Compound Football Field (entrance through girls' and boys sides)
• Tickets: Will be available for purchase for 15 riyals each from Monday, April 15th, 2024- Thursday, April 18th, 2024. 
• Note: 
• All proceeds will be used for NHS funding the following year in order to ensure more events could take place in the future. 
• We will also have a concession stand for refreshments.

Come and support your team in what promises to be a memorable clash full of skill, sportsmanship, and community spirit. We hope to see you there!

 Invitation to Grade 6-12 Parent Teacher conference / Grade KG - 5 Student-led conference
 

We would like to invite parents and staff to Student-led conferences on Wed, Apr 24, 2024. 

Parents of Grade 1 -G5 students:

• You will receive an email directly from your child’s Homeroom Teacher about the student-led conferences. Please contact the Teacher with any questions

Parents of Grade 6-12 students:

• Parents are invited to sign up for digital appointment slots via the following links.
  • Morning SIGN-UP LINK  
  • Afternoon SIGN-UP LINK   
• If you are having difficulties signing up, please check the following tutorial Sign Up Genius Tutorial.
• You may sign up directly without creating an account.
• Signing up will be locked on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at noon.
• Each appointment is scheduled for 15 minutes. The start time and end time need to be respected.   
• Teachers are listed in alphabetical order to assist you in locating the correct teacher. Use the “Control F” feature to search for specific names in your computer browser quickly. We strongly recommend you use your computer for the sign-up.
• Please add your child's name and grade level in the Student Name and Grade field in the submission process. 
• The names of your student’s teachers are all available to you in PlusPortal, on the school website, or by looking in Google Classroom. You can easily find specialist teachers for your student by checking these locations. 
• Once you sign up for an appointment time, the Sign Up Genius System will send you a confirmation email. 
• Please understand both the start and end times for your appointment so that other parents may meet with the teacher.  
• When selecting a slot, please only take one with each teacher. This will ensure the teacher can meet with as many parents as possible on conference day. 
• If a longer appointment is needed, or if you miss your scheduled appointment time, you can make another appointment for a later date with the specific teacher by emailing him/ her directly. 

Important Notes:

• There will be no regular classes on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
• STUDENTS must NOT attend conferences with their parents.
