Announcement 01: International Programs School – 96th Saudi National Day Celebration

Dear IPS Learning Community,

It is with great pleasure that we announce the IPS 96th Saudi National Day Celebration during this week. Learners will celebrate the Kingdom’s achievements and discover future projects under Vision 2030, through fun and meaningful activities that promote national pride and belonging.

Announcement 02: MAP Testing Announcement for Grades 3 - 10 Students

Dear IPS Parents and Students,

We would like to inform you that our students in grades 3 to 10 will be undergoing the MAP assessment during the period from September 28 to October 4, 2026.

The MAP assessment is an important tool that helps us understand each student's academic progress level. This assessment measures mathematics, reading, and language skills and provides valuable data that assists in ongoing education and learning support.

• Event Name: MAP Test
• Grades: 3–10
• Date: September 28 – October 4, 2026
• Location: Classrooms
• Sections: This test measures math, reading and language skills and provides invaluable data that assists in ongoing education and learning support

Schedule:

MAP in the Upper Primary (Grade 3–5):

• Teachers will administer the assessment during a designated 2-period block. 
• Students in Grades 3 to 5 will be administering the MAP assessment during the week of September 28. The test dates will be as follows:
• Monday, September 28 – Reading
• Tuesday, September 29 – Math
• Wednesday, September 30 – Language Usage
• Thursday, October 1 – Additional Testing / Completion
• Sunday, October 4 – Make-Up / Completion

MAP in the Secondary School (Grade 6–10):

• Wednesday, September 30 – MAP Testing: Day 1 of 2
• Thursday, October 1 – MAP Testing: Day 2 of 2
• Sunday, October 4 – Make-Up Day

We would like to emphasize the importance of the upcoming test and its role in assessing students' academic levels, learning, and academic growth. Therefore, we kindly request your support in encouraging your children to approach this test with great interest and dedication. It serves as a valuable tool to measure their progress and helps us provide the necessary educational support tailored to their needs.

Note: Students need to ensure that they have a fully charged device and follow the guidance from their teachers. Here is a link to a page that can be added to your Google classroom to assist in this process.
