Announcement 02:  IPS Reads - Secondary school 

Dear parents and students,

From February 9 to 13, NHS will be hosting a week-long celebration of literacy, creativity, and fun! 

Here are the activities planned by the National Honor Society for this exciting week: 

Short Story Writing Competition: Students from grades 6-12 can participate in this fun competition where they showcase their creativity by writing an original short story inspired by the theme of “Heroism.” All entries must be submitted by February 13, and the winners will be announced shortly after the event. If you’re interested, please fill out this form. 

Bookface Competition: Unleash your creativity by participating in the Bookface Competition! Combine a book cover featuring a face or character with your face or surroundings to create a fascinating “bookface” illusion. If you’re interested in this competition, please fill out this form by February 13. The most outstanding photo will receive an exciting prize for their creativity and effort!

Book Exchange: Discover new stories while sharing your own! From February 9 to February 13, students can participate in our Book Exchange by bringing books to Gate 1 and 2 from 7:15 to 7:45 am in exchange for tickets. 

From February 11 to February 13 after school, students will use their tickets to pick out some fascinating books. This provides an excellent opportunity for students to discover the joy of reading books. We kindly ask that all books be in good condition and appropriate for students to enjoy.
