Announcement 01: Invitation to  ( Teacher-Parent Conference 6-12  and  Student-Led Conferences KG1-5)

Dear IPS Parents,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to our Teacher-Parent Conference 6-12/ Student-Led Conferences KG1-5 (Term 2). 

  • Date: Sunday 10 May, 2026
  • Time: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
  • Vision: To enhance communication and understanding between parents and teachers, with the goal of ensuring the continued progress and collective success of our students.
  • Location: IPS Campus - Individual Teachers' Classrooms.
  • Deadline for Registration: 7th May, 2026, 2:00 p.m.

Important Notes:

Primary School: Grade KG1- G5 students: 

  • Length of Sessions: 30 minutes slots for Student Led Conferences. 
  • You will receive the details for the Student-Led Conference on Sunday, May 3rd directly from your child’s Homeroom Teacher. If you have any questions, kindly contact the Homeroom Teacher.
  • Students are required to attend the conference with their parents.

Secondary School: Grade 6-12 Students: 

  • Length of session: 10-minute slots for each Parent-Teacher meeting
  • No students will attend school on this day, and this will provide them with a  chance to review their academic work and rejuvenate.

   Signing up: 

Parents of Grade KG1-G5 students:

  • Homeroom Teacher: You will receive a sign-up sheet directly from your child’s Homeroom Teacher. Please sign up for one time slot per child. 
  • All PYP Specialist Teachers  (Islamic, KSA Social Studies, Arabic, IT, Art, and PE): You are invited to visit the specialist classrooms on a walk-in basis. Your child will be happy to share their learning with you. 

Parents of Grade 6-12 Boys and Girls students in Middle and High School:

Announcement 02:  Announcement of Strategic Partnership and Launch of the Climb Program – Summer 2026
 

Dear Parents,

As part of International Programs School’s commitment to delivering high-quality and impactful learning experiences, we are pleased to announce the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Almaharat World for Education Company to launch a distinguished summer program for our students in 2026.

This partnership represents an important step toward developing confident, expressive, and future-ready students equipped with essential life and leadership skills.

Program Objectives: The Climb Program aims to:

  • Enable students to speak confidently and clearly in front of an audience
  • Build strong, influential, and self-assured personalities
  • Enhance effective communication and expression skills
  • Develop critical thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Prepare students to engage confidently in academic and real-life situations

Language of Instruction:
The program will be delivered primarily in Arabic, ensuring clear understanding, effective engagement, and meaningful participation for all students.

Climb Program – Public Speaking and Leadership: A comprehensive training journey in communication and leadership

  • Location: IPS Theater – Al Khobar
  • Daily Time: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Announcement 03: Semester 2 Final Exam Schedule 2025-2026
Final Exam Schedule:

  • Grade 12: Exams begin on June 7
  • Grades 6–11: Exams begin on June 11
  • Location: All exams will take place in homeroom classes.

If a student is absent, he or she will need to submit a medical note from a doctor in order to take a make-up exam. No students will be allowed to make up an exam if this is not provided. 

Below are the exam guidelines for students:

  • All students must wear their uniform during exams
  • Arrive early and enter the gym
  • Be on your best behavior. No talking is allowed during the exams
  • Bring the required supplies in a clear ziplock bag and a water bottle
  • Calculators are allowed only if permitted by the teacher
  • No phones or computers are allowed
  • Exams will be taken using a Blue ballpoint pen, bringing an extra pen for emergency
  • Wait in front of the exam hall until called by the proctor/teacher. i.e. 5 min. before the exam starts
  • Keep all books, laptops, or personal belongings outside the exam hall
  • Keep exam papers neat and clean
  • Give only ONE answer to each question. Multiple answers will be deleted
  • Review the exam paper before handing it to the proctor. You may not retrieve the exam once it has been submitted.
  • Students will remain in the exam room up until the end of the exam. Students may bring a book to read once the exam has finished.
  • Any student who fails an exam must take a credit recovery exam the week of August 30 to September 3, 2026.

Dismissal Instructions:

  • Students will be released either at 9:30 or 11:30, based on the final exam schedule.
  • Boys must be picked up from Gate 1 and girls from Gate 2
  • Anyone riding a bus (boy or girl) will be picked up at Gate 2
  • If a student rides the bus, transportation must be arranged with the bus company
  • Gates will be closed at 10:00 or 12:00
  • Students may not remain at school until 2:55

 

Announcement 04: Half Day on May 21 & Eid Al Adha Holiday Schedule

Please be kindly reminded that Thursday, May 21, 2026, the final day before the Eid Al Adha vacation, will be a half day, with dismissal at 12:00 PM for all students.

School will resume on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, following the Eid Al Adha break.

  • Orders will be processed after the deadline
  • Delivery is expected within approximately 15 days after order closure (subject to courier timelines)
