Announcement 01: IPS Parental Engagement Survey Term 1 2025-2026

Dear IPS Parents & Guardians,

At International Programs School (IPS), we strongly believe that a successful educational journey is built on a strong partnership between home and school. Your voice, insights, and feedback are essential in helping us continuously improve the quality of our educational, communication, and engagement practices.

We kindly invite you to participate in the Parental Engagement Survey for Term 1 (2025–2026). This short survey aims to gather your perspectives on your experience with IPS and how effectively we are supporting you and your child.

Your responses will help us:

  • Strengthen communication between school and home
  • Improve parent engagement opportunities
  • Enhance the overall learning environment for our students

Announcement 02: KAUST Gifted Student Program (KGSP) Cohort 18 Applications Now Open

Dear Parents,

We are pleased to inform you that King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) has officially opened applications for Cohort 18 of the KAUST Gifted Student Program (KGSP) for the academic year 2026–2027.
This prestigious national program is open to Saudi Grade 12 students who demonstrate outstanding academic ability, particularly in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

What is the KAUST Gifted Student Program (KGSP)?

The KAUST Gifted Student Program (KGSP) is a dual scholarship and fellowship program designed to identify the Kingdom’s most talented high school students and prepare them for future leadership in science, research, and innovation.

Selected students will:

  • Study at one of the world’s top 30 global universities
  • Receive world-class academic and professional development
  • Later return to KAUST for graduate studies
  • Become part of a distinguished network of scholars, researchers, and innovators serving Saudi Arabia and the global scientific community

KGSP alumni include award-winning researchers, entrepreneurs, Rhodes Scholars, and leaders in innovation.

Who Can Apply?

  • Saudi students in Grade 12
  • Students planning to pursue STEM majors at international universities

Minimum Academic Requirements (to guarantee an interview)

TestMinimum Score
SAT1350 (minimum 700 in SAT Math)
TOEFL iBT90
OR IELTS Academic7.0
OR SAT English650

Applicants who do not meet all minimum scores may still be considered, but an interview is not guaranteed.

Important Requirements: Applicants must:

  • Apply for undergraduate admission for Fall 2026
  • Apply for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship – Arruaad Pathway
  • Select a major aligned with one of KAUST’s graduate fields of study

 Interviews will take place from mid-February to early April 2026

  • Application Fee: There is no application fee
  • Application Deadline: Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

Announcement 03: LFC IA Term 2 Registration Is Now Open

Dear Parents,

LFC IA Term 2 registration is now open. 

For those who have not yet registered for Term 2, we encourage you to do so at the earliest opportunity to avoid losing your place.

Term 2 will begin on Sunday, 25 January 2026. Registration must be completed by this date in order to attend sessions.
