Dear IPS Parents and Students,

We would like to inform you that our students in grades 3 to 10 will be undergoing the MAP assessment in the week starting November 26, 2023.

The MAP assessment is an important tool that helps us understand each student's academic progress level. This assessment measures mathematics, reading, and language skills and provides valuable data that assists in ongoing education and learning support.

• Date: November 26-30, 2023

• Schedule: 

MAP in the Upper Elementary (Grade 3 - 5): 

• Teachers will administer the assessment during a designated 2-period block 
• Students in grades 3 to 5 will be administering the MAP assessment the week of the 26th of November. The test dates will be as follows: 
• Sunday, November 26 - Reading 
• Tuesday, November 28 - Math
• Thursday, November 30 - Language Usage

MAP in the Middle and High school (Grade 6-10): 

• Sunday, November 26 - Math 
• Monday, November 27 - Reading
• Tuesday, November 28 - Language
• Thursday, November 30 - All

Grades 11 & 12 will work on their Extended Essay, CAS, and Guidance requirements

Note: Students need to ensure that they have a fully charged device and follow the guidance from their teachers. Here is a link to a page that can be added to your Google classroom to assist in this process.
